Coconut Oil Conditioner—DIY Recipe

Posted by Pure Acres Farm on

Coconut oil is one of the greatest natural conditioners for your hair. It has a rich history and has been used by indigenous people for thousands of years.

The triglycerides in the oil brings back the softness to your hair while its antimicrobial properties help nourish the scalp. The oil also stimulates blood in the scalp and helps in the re-growth of damaged hair—keeping you hair full and healthy.

What about dandruff? Well, with consistent use, coconut oil can help kill the fungus in the scalp so you can say goodbye to dandruff issues. Stop using those chemical filled dandruff shampoos that can be harmful to your body, try using Coconut Oil — it is simply a win win and here is a recipe to get you started:

Ingredients
2/3 cup Fractionated Coconut Oil
1 Tablespoon Vitamin E Oil
1 Tablespoon Jojoba Oil
10 Drops of your favorite Essential oil

Directions
1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl with a hand mixer until
well combined.
2. After washing hair with shampoo, use a teaspoon or
two and smooth through hair.
3. Allow conditioner to penetrate hair for the
remainder of your shower.
4. Rinse well.
